New Way’s Don Ross Elected To Serve On NWRA Board of Trustees

Scranton, IA (February 19, 2020) – Don Ross, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McLaughlin Family Companies and New Way Trucks, has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). This appointment reaffirms Ross’s steadfast dedication to driving success in the solid waste industry.

Ross has been an active member of the NWRA for over a decade. Since 2013, he has served on NWRA’s Suppliers Board of Governors and is the NWRA Awards Committee Chairman – where his responsibilities include leading the Hall of Fame nominations review process.
Working in the waste and recycling industry for more than 30 years, he is well versed in various facets of the industry – including collection, transfer, consulting, manufacturing, and more. In 2019, Ross received the NWRA Member of the Year Award. This accolade is presented to those that demonstrate extraordinary service to the mission and goals of the organization.
