K-PAC™ by New Way Names Mike Bills Product Manager

K-PAC by New Way, a leading manufacturer of a full line of self-contained and stationary compactors as well as commercial and rolloff containers, recently announced the addition of Mike Bills as Product Manager. Mike’s duties will include developing and implementing a product line business strategy to build brand awareness, increase sales, improve distribution channels, and drive new product development.
Bills is not new to McLaughlin Family Companies, having joined the New Way Trucks side of the business as a Sales Engineer two years ago. Since then he has familiarized himself with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) side of the solid waste industry by working with distributors, vendors, and internal departments in support of New Way’s refuse truck sales efforts.
K-PAC is excited to have Mike become the voice of the new and improved K-PAC product line. K-PAC has long produced compactors for nearly every multi-family, commercial, and industrial application. To meet the needs of its customers K-PAC recently began manufacturing front-load, rear-load, and various open-top rolloff containers.
“With our current manufacturing capacity and short lead times, there is a tremendous opportunity for continued growth,” said Don Ross, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “In his new role, Mike will work closely with the current K-PAC team, the engineering, production, accounting, and transportation departments, as well as our distributors and end users to manage the company’s commitment to innovation and growing the K-PAC footprint.”
Mike has worked in manufacturing for 15 years now. He has been directly involved in fabrication, assembly, installation, sales, and design. Given this breadth of firsthand experience, he has gained valuable knowledge of the entire manufacturing process. “I am excited to develop and implement new product strategies, and to help expand production and sales of the K-PAC compactor and container product lines,” said Mike.
