New Way Transfers K-PAC Compactors Business to Plum Creek Environmental

Companies will continue to partner to offer customers a complete waste solutions package.

Scranton, IA — New Way announces it has transferred ownership of the K-PAC Compactors business to Plum Creek Environmental. The decision to divest K-PAC Compactors was made to focus manufacturing operations on refuse collection vehicles and align with increasing demand.

Plum Creek Environmental, based in West Point, MS, is a manufacturer of waste and recycling containers and equipment and has been noted as one of the fastest growing companies in the solid waste industry. The K-PAC Compactors brand will be added as a premium product line to the company’s compactor division.

Along with allowing New Way to dedicate efforts to streamlining and expanding production of refuse trucks at its facilities in Scranton, IA and Booneville, MS, this transition of K-PAC to Plum Creek Environmental – an expert in waste containers and compactors – will help better serve customers. The companies will continue to partner to offer a complete waste solutions package.
